LÖYLY es un laboratorio que invita a darse un baño colectivo y a entrar en relación y con-tacto con el vapor y la temperatura.
Löyly, palabra finesa que hace referencia al vapor obtenido arrojando agua sobre piedras calientes, evoca un estado en transición, un umbral borroso, un espíritu que se desvanece y que se lleva el calor.
En esta práctica experimentamos con el dispositivo escénico de la obra HAMMAM y el vapor es nuestra guía. Nos damos un baño juntxs y nos dejamos tocar, atravesar, humedecer y sanar por sus movimientos y propiedades medicinales, permeando nuestra materia corporal y dejándola transmutar.
El agua pulverizada ambiental carga eléctricamente el aire de iones negativos y nos dedicamos a respirar, oxigenar y vitalizar los pulmones, la piel y la escucha, invocando a los espíritus del vapor.
*Cada participante necesita traer una toalla y ropa de cambio.
HAMMAM es un proyecto que explora el vapor de agua y el sonido como cuerpos medioambientales, medios de con-tacto y afectación, y el ‘baño’ como fenómeno colectivo de purga y transformación.

Löyly, a Finnish word that refers to the steam obtained by throwing water on hot stones, evokes a state in transition, a blurred threshold, a spirit that vanishes and carries away the heat.
In this practice we experiment with the scenic setting of HAMMAM performance and vapour is our guide. We take a bath together and let ourselves be touched, traversed, moistened and healed by its movements and medicinal properties, permeating our body matter and letting it transmute.
The ambient sprayed water electrically charges the air with negative ions and we dedicate ourselves to breathing, oxygenating and revitalizing the lungs, the skin and listening, invoking the spirits of steam.
*Each participant needs to bring a towel and change of clothes.
HAMMAM is a project that explores water vapour and sound as environmental bodies, means of contact and affectation, and 'bathroom' as a collective phenomenon of purging and transformation.
